Application Order – Black First, Then Transparent?
The black adhesive is typically used as the primary bonding agent because it blends seamlessly with the lash line and gives a fuller, more defined look. The transparent adhesive can be used on top for extra reinforcement if desired, but this step is optional. After the adhesive, you can finish with a sealer to lock everything in and help extend wear time.
Bonding Strength – Are Both Adhesives Equal?
Yes, both the black and transparent versions of the LA Duo Precision Lash Adhesive offer the same bonding power. The difference is purely visual — black creates a more defined lash line, while transparent gives a softer, more natural look. You can use either one or a combination of both, depending on the style you want to achieve.
Is It Safe to Wet Lash Clusters After 24 Hours?
Yes! Our adhesive cures quickly, so lashes can safely get wet after just 1 hour. That said, please be aware that extended or intense exposure to water — such as swimming or long, hot showers — can temporarily soften the bond and make it more elastic. Gently tap the lashes dry with a towel. Avoid pulling or scratching them while the bond is soft, and allow them time to fully dry and re-harden.
How to Clean Lash Clusters While Still Applied
To clean the lashes while they're still on, we recommend gently using a clean spoolie or lint-free applicator with an oil-free lash cleanser. Focus on the lash line and avoid saturating the clusters. This will help maintain the integrity of the bond while keeping the lashes clean and comfortable.
Longevity – How Long Do Clusters Last with This Adhesive?
When applied properly and cared for, lash clusters using the LA Duo Precision Lash Adhesive typically last between 5 to 7 days. Longevity may vary slightly depending on the application technique, aftercare routine, and the client's skin type or oil production.
